HighLevel is a cloud-based, all-in-one sales and marketing platform tailored for digital marketing agencies, consultants, coaches, and service‑based businesses. It replaces a patchwork of tools—funnels, email, SMS, CRM, landing pages, reputation management, scheduling, payments, invoicing, and membership management—with one cohesive dashboard. Founded in 2018, it empowers users to automate client workflows, nurture leads with emails, SMS and voicemails, build landing pages and high‑converting sales funnels, and track performance metrics—all without switching platforms.
This unified platform offers unlimited contacts and users on paid plans, plus white‑label SaaS capability so agencies can rebrand and resell the entire platform as their solution, unlocking a new revenue stream. While the platform offers deep automation and broad coverage, users should expect a learning curve—especially during onboarding—and occasional UI quirks or support delays.
Custom dashboards and widgets are available on the $297 (Unlimited) and $497 (SaaS Pro) plans. Only Agency Admins and Agency Users on the $497 plan or higher have full edit-access, while Account Admins and Account Users have view-only access based on their permissions.
Widgets currently use a system-wide timezone and date format for consistency. HighLevel plans to allow users to switch formats in future updates for a personalized experience.
Permissions are managed via Settings → My Staff. You can assign granular dashboard permissions such as Dashboard Stats, Contacts, Opportunities, Appointments, or Lead Value. Only assigned data is visible in custom widgets when that setting is enabled.
Lead or sales counts are derived from opportunity data, not from native ad platforms. Discrepancies may occur if workflows for capturing conversion API data are not fully configured. To accurately reflect revenue and conversions, ensure that these workflows are set up properly.
