TonesMatch is an AI tone matcher for guitarists and bass players. Pick a song, add your guitar, amp, and pedals once, and it gives you amp settings, pickup position, and a pedal chain adapted to your rig. Tones come from studio notes, rig rundowns, and guitar communities, with cited sources and a confidence score. It only suggests controls your amp actually has. Use it if you want to get close to a recorded sound without owning the artist's gear.

• Song-to-Settings Matching: Type a song and get amp settings, pickup position, and pedal chain suggestions. You skip hours of digging through forum threads.
• Gear-Aware Adaptation: Settings are recalculated for your guitar and amp. It accounts for single-coil vs. humbucker pickups, tube vs. modeling amps, and 12 cabinet voicings.
• Real Controls Only: Each amp's actual control set is mapped, so you only get channels, knobs, and preset names your amp really has.
• Researched Tone Data with Sources: Each tone comes from studio session notes, rig rundowns, and community sources. Results show the cited sources and a research confidence score, so you can judge how far to trust them.
• Original vs. Adapted Breakdown: Results show the original recording gear and settings next to your adapted settings, plus an adaptation accuracy score.
• Guitar and Bass Support: Both plans cover bass rigs, including amp, cabinet, and pedal recommendations.
• Saved Tones and Gear Presets: Save your rig once and keep unlimited tones, so you can switch between songs quickly.

• Settings that fit your gear: You don't get suggestions for knobs or channels your amp lacks, which can happen with general-purpose AI chatbots.
• Transparent sourcing: Cited sources and confidence scores show where each tone came from and how solid the research is.
• No need to own the artist's rig: Results are adapted to the guitar and amp you have, including budget and modeling amps.
• Free tone browsing: Browse songs and view sample matches before deciding whether to subscribe.
• Affordable annual plans: Annual subscriptions start at $2.92 per month, with the higher tier costing $4.17 per month when billed annually. Both plans can be cancelled without a penalty.
• Covers bass players too: Bassists get the same gear-aware matching, so it's not limited to guitar.

• Limited adaptations on the entry plan: Tone Seeker includes 20 adaptations per month. Each song matched to a different guitar, amp, or pedalboard counts as a new session, so if you use several rigs you may need Tone Master.
• Coverage depends on the library: Results depend on the songs and gear it has researched and profiled. Uncommon gear may need a request before it's supported.

• Learning a cover song: You're learning "Enter Sandman" on a Telecaster and a Yamaha THR. TonesMatch shows the original Mesa/Boogie settings and turns them into a preset, pickup choice, and knob positions for your setup.
• Getting more from budget gear: You own a practice amp and an entry-level guitar. You get settings built around their real controls instead of guesswork based on gear you'll never buy.
• Gigging cover bands: Save your rig as a preset and match a whole setlist. That gives you a starting point for each song before rehearsal.
• Bass tone matching: A bassist enters their bass, amp, and pedals to get amp, cabinet, and pedal suggestions for a track's bass tone.
• Testing a new amp or modeler: After switching gear, run your favorite songs on the new rig. You get adapted settings without having to relearn every tone from scratch.
• Researching a tone: Check the cited sources and confidence score to see what gear and settings were used on a recording, then decide how closely to follow them.
